Must-Try Cocktail: The Lumière
For me, every season seems to have a cocktail theme. There’s typically one drink that becomes my go-to favorite drink to shake up at home, then gets added to the regular rotation. This Spring and Summer, the Lumiere has become the winner! It’s less sweet than it sounds, and that citrus kick feels like vacation. The green chartreuse is a bit of an investment, but anything with chartreuse just tastes better…. I challenge you to host an intimate cocktail party with a couple of friends and mix this drink up. You’ll be a hit!
1 1/2 oz gin | 1 oz elderflower liqueur | 3/4 oz green chartruese | 1 dash orange bitters | 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
mixing glass | bar spoon | coupe glass
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake until cocktail shaker is frosty on the outside. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass and garnish with a twist of lime. Enjoy!
